Guinness Global Investors has launched a Global Dynamic Bond fund for manager Craig Veysey.

The fund, which is benchmark-unconstrained, will invest in government bonds, investment-grade credit and some high-yield bonds from around the globe.

Veysey (pictured) will choose his investments with a focus on three key drivers: resilient income, value-driven credit selection and a macroeconomic overlay.

Commenting on the launch, Veysey said: “Global bond markets have undergone a historic repricing, but the opportunity is not evenly distributed.

“Interest rates, government bond yields and credit spreads are responding differently to inflation volatility, energy sensitivity and fiscal uncertainty.

“The Guinness Global Dynamic Bond fund has been designed to identify undervalued bond investments with clear catalysts, actively manage duration, credit and currency risk through the cycle, and compound attractive income over the long term.”

Edward Guinness, CEO of Guinness Global Investors, added the firm is excited to launch its first global fixed income fund “at such an opportune time in the market”.

“The Guinness Global Dynamic Bond fund complements our existing equity income portfolios and provides additional diversification to our range.

“With his extensive experience in managing flexible bond strategies, Craig is well placed to provide investors with the consistent income and long-term capital appreciation they seek.”

Prior to joining Guinness in March this year, Veysey founded Cavalen Asset Management in 2025. Before this, he spent almost six years at Man GLG as lead fund manager of its Strategic Bond fund and head of strategic bonds at Man GLG. Veysey had originally launched the fund in 2012 at Sanlam, before it was acquired by Man GLG in 2018. He has also held roles at Scottish Widows and HSBC Asset Management.
